May I have a beach fire?

Are fireworks permitted in Duck?

Beach fires and bonfires are not permitted in the Town of Duck. 

Fireworks -- including sparklers and sky lanterns -- are not permitted in the Town of Duck. While the sale of legal fireworks in Duck is permitted, their use is prohibited and punishable by a $250 fine and requires a mandatory court appearance.

May I grill on my deck?

Grilling on decks and near vegetation is discouraged because it is dangerous.  Grills can easily catch fire when used on or near wooden decks or when not shut down properly.  Make sure that all charcoal ashes are cold before disposal.
